About National Eviction

Most attorney directories lump every landlord-tenant lawyer together. That is a problem for a landlord with a non-paying tenant: half the results are tenant defense firms, and the other half are general practitioners who file an eviction twice a year.

National Eviction lists firms that represent landlords and property managers. Most listings are compiled from public sources: firms' own websites, bar association listings and other public directories. Firms that submit themselves are reviewed for landlord representation before they go live. We do not audit, vet or endorse any firm, and we are not a law firm.

Every listing states which side the firm takes, which is the thing most directories leave out. Of the firms listed, those that also act for tenants are labeled as such, so you know before you call. If you find a listing that is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will correct or remove it.
