Michael H. Cicchetti, a seasoned attorney with over 48 years of experience, graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 1968 and earned his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1972. After working as an associate and partner in Waterbury law firms, he founded his solo practice, which evolved into the respected Cicchetti, Tansley & McGrath LLP. Admitted to practice in Connecticut state and federal courts and the U.S. Supreme Court, he focuses on commercial and residential real estate, subdivision, zoning, land use, probate, trust, and estate matters, while also advising businesses on entity formation, regulatory compliance, and strategic transactions. A detail-oriented professional, Cicchetti has represented private and governmental clients, including the City of Waterbury and the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, and is deeply rooted in the Waterbury community, where he was born and raised. Now residing in Litchfield, Connecticut, with his wife Dianne, he enjoys biking, vacationing on Nantucket, and spending time with his grandchildren when not dedicated to his legal practice.
